I've tried listening to Radiohead, but I'm not keen on what I've heard.

I've only listened to OK Computer, but I just couldn't get into it. Is there something about this band that I'm just missing, or are there any better albums for someone with no Radiohead experience?

I really want to like this band, but I'm just not feeling their sound.

Try their latest 'In Rainbows'. Not too testing and a good entry into their music.

QFT. It's by far their catchiest album and it won't weird you out. Plus it's absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely check it out.

i love radiohead, but never really got into hail to the theif...

its weird to me that people would pick that as their favourite.

i need explanations, friends!

Maybe that album appealed to them the most. It's Radiohead's darkest and most political album, so if that strikes them properly then i could definitely see that being a favorite to some.

I think Thom's denied on multiple occasions that the album title refers to the 2000 election. If there is any political meaning behind HTTT, it's certainly not current events. I can see enjoying it more than enjoying Kid A, but there you go.

That doesn't mean it's not political. Look at it lyrically, the songs are very dark and do have a message. Just because it's not an anti-Bush album doesn't mean it isn't political.
