Quarashi (lyrics, rap, rock, album, fan)

So has anyone heard of Quarashi? My friend is well into them - he listens to them constantly. I'm just wondering how big the fan base is. Talk about them for a while...

what! how would anyone know who they r. it sounds like a japenese fish..no offence love but try a more well known band...not that im saying they r not any good..im sure they are.

^ he can "try" any band that he wants. people on this board are pretty into music, not everyone only listens to the top 40. now that that's over with, sorry can't say I've heard of them. anywhere I can check them out?

Well I have only several ideas of who they are:
1) They are not a type of Japanese fish, they are from Iceland
2) They play some form of Hip Hop, apparently. It sounds more like a type of rock to me...
3) They have many members, of which only one is a female - the DJ I think
4) I don't really like them, I'm just wondering of ANYONE else has heard of them
5) Oh yeah, thye're releasing a new album soon - Gorilla Party or somthing like that...

i googled it, try http://www.quarashi.net/ and go to music...Its kinda, bam, and quite a bit of sweating in the clip i listened to =p

ya, not my thing. i'm really not a fan of the rap aspect of the music, and the lyrics are really lacking.
