There is still alot of me that is drwan to the whole Cd buying process, having the cover art, in wonderful tqactile paper and plastic, just simply dropping it ino the Cd tray, pressing play and knowing its just you and that brand new album.... still a feeling that can't replaced by pixels and sound files...

the joy of computers. I only listen to a hard CD a few times. every thing i have is backed up on a hard drive and on my Zen. I just like knowing that i am getting what i expect. Not a music file that is choped, or compressed, or not the actual song or what not. I'm not like, ant-pirate or anything. Just, weird i guess.

I WISH I had the time to listen to my entire collection end to end, but that would be a task that would require a lengthy vacation, the likes of which I am not going to get for a very, very long time...

Yeesh, I don't even want to think about how long it would take me to listen to my entire collection. According to iTunes, I have 28 DAYS of music. Plus factor in sleep time...
Though it would be a great way to weed out the stuff I don't want anymore, and I'm sure there's more than enough of that! Most of it is stuff I don't even listen to, and I wouldn't miss if it were gone. And then I could make room for more new stuff!! |

I keep my collection so large because I kinda end up listening in circles, that is, I know I am always going to come back to an album or a song at some point, and I'd be pissed with myself for getting rid of it...
