Question Could I get a pretty specific classification?

I've got a classification question.

What exact genre would you say that Evanescence, Some Linkin Park, Adema, Flaw are? They all have that sound-effecty industrial influence, they all have clean guitar work with a metal base. More musical per se, less thrashy than regular metal. I know they are nu-metal as well, but they could be classified down a bit more.

Here's an example of the detail Im looking for (Not to be pushy, but I dont really want someone to say "They're all rock")
Cold-
Southern powermetal, Nu-Metal with heavier metal influences. Melodic overtones and vocals.

^^ I'm just curious if you genuinely think that any music you personally don't have a taste for is crap. You seem pretty intelligent, so I'm wondering if you really can't differentiate between personal opinion and a universal fact, or if it's just a personna you assume for this board.

apparently you are not. all of the bands he listed **** upon all of the bands you listed. linkin park? evenescence? they play 3 chord songs. even though bucket full of teeth, discordant axis and joan of arc arent really at the top of my list, they play good music. which is more than can be said about your bands. looks like your active in the mtv scene, not music as a whole.
