Curtis & Joy Division 1979
Bowdon Vale Youth Club, Altrincham Nr. Manchester 1979
Not seen this before and it captivated me. Despite the sound quality you get a real sense of what Ian Curtis was about and why he was such a mesmerizing figure to watch live. It breaks my heart to think what this band could have achieved had he lived. |

Ian is my favorite lyricist, he's more of a poet.

I have a cleaned up audio of the whole gig.
Thats the only problem with Joy Division bootlegs , there are only 3 decent ones. This one , Preston Warehouse & the one in Paris they did for French radio. All the others sound like crap.
