ethan's to thank for those, ha.

I guess some more obscure stuff like Wolfie and Canine Sugar could be described as such but they aren't hyped out the ass.
Placebo is a guilty pleasure for Ethan and myself.

I dont understan why people feel guilty for listening to certain music.... Why cant you just be secure in your musical tastes?

Take one of mine for example-SAXON. They play standard classic two guitar heavy metal. Their lyrics are the usual British metal clinches-battles, warriors, girls, rocking the night etc. They have no hugely redeeming features. The vocalist is distinctive but not the world's best. Their line up has constantly changed and the musicians are merely adequate. Yet I really like them because I associate them with a certain time in my life. So yes I am embarrassed to like them but i still do.
"Guilty Pleasures" is more a popular phrase than an exact description

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.
