I think Wichita Lineman is Jimmy Webb's best song.

I agree, Paul. "And I need you more than want you / And I want you for all time". On a personal note, my mother told me that my dad would often sing those lines to her.

Jimmy Webb wrote a really fine and serious book on songwriting, titled Tunesmith - it's here on my shelves.

I don't know why such a musical category exists when people are going to like whatever they like for whatever reason. Most of the music that I listen to is country, but I will admit that I still revisit other forms of music that I took an interest in when I was younger.

1.) The self named album from the New Kids On The Block as well as their albums named Hanging Tough and Step By Step were big when I was a kid. I was eight when the Step By Step a;bum got released.

2.) Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen-1992 when I was ten years old is when they started releasing albums made for kids to listen to and I am not ashamed to admit that I have most of them as well as their films.

3.) An album was made to go with the TV show from the 90s named The Dinosaurs. I have a tape copy of it and periodically I go to where it can be listened to at the You Tube website. The singers all did a great job on their recordings.

4.) I still listen to my Disney favorites from time to time.

5.) I love listening to my favorite person from the Sesame Street children's show which was the guy who gave us the character of David on there. His name is Northern Calloway. I love his singing and his smile, and I wish so much that he was still here.

6.) I love the songs from The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper film.

7.) An album of music for the Charlie Brown characters was made named Flash Beagle in 1983. It was also a part of my childhood.

God bless you and my favorites who are still here always!!!
