Other than that, when it gets to the legends, it's all cool.

That said - With some Hermits singles, Sandie, and a couple of Peter and Gordon singles, it's the guilty verdict on me.
Tremoloes, HH, The Hollies, The Searchers, DC5

and all the ladies - Cilla Black, Petula Clark, Sandie Shaw, Dusty, Shirley Bassey et al

That depends on how confident you are in liking it. If you aren't and you need someone to tell you it is good then it would be a guilty pleasure I suppose.

But it's quite a popular and acclaimed song.

But ABBA are not considered so unhip anymore. That album was actually included in a book "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die".

The same could be said about these from the first post that started this thread.

What songs are artists are guilty pleasures for you?

Here are a few of mine:

Christina Aguliera (sp?) - Love her voice. Fighter and Beautiful are on my cardio mix.

The Big Bopper - Chantily Lace

Stevie Nicks - Seventeen

Garth Brooks - The Dance

Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline, Coming to America and Cherry Cherry

ooh so many more...

It doesn't mean that it sits well with my self-image.

True. I sometimes forget these things. Where I come from is a Small Dot on the Map where the only Abba most people hear is "Dancing Queen" on the radio and nothing else.

You're right on that, though.

Well I'd not really say I was embarrassed enough about anything I like to consider it a "guilty" pleasure, but bands/artists I enjoy which would probably come under that umbrella would be the likes of Destiny's Child, Ashlee Simpson, Beyonce, P!nk, Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani, N*SYNC, The Cranberries, Britney Spears, The Cardigans, Shania Twain, Alien Ant Farm, Sugarcult, Bloodhound Gang, Crazy Town, Har Mar Superstar.. I wouldn't say I considered any of the aforementioned as favourites but I'm definitely partial to a listen or two once in a while.

As far as I know he is. It was only last summer that I saw him. And if nothing has happened between then and now, then I would assume he is still touring.
