I'll say. Good to see another classical fan with an open mind to other types of music.

My guilty pleasure is Genesis "Calling All Stations" album... widely regarded as the bands worst, and the first in over twenty years, at the time, without Phil Collins on vocal or drumming duties...

But the songs themselves are solid and the band sounds fresh, free of the stigma of being the "Phil Collins backing band except with louder keyboards"... I actually have become quite fond of this album and the harder edged sound it carried with it.... must get it onto my mp3 player soon...

I have a soft spot for

Seether - Karma & Effect (Though I like them, I dont feel they are that talented instrumentally)

&

Everything by Shinedown (I know they can't play instruments either, but that singer has got such a powerful voice, I find it easy to look past their other downfalls)
