What do you think of MTV? (punk, shows, classic, Ching)

reality shows... umm... they are all stagged, like The Osborun.. < fake! the real world is real tho, but other then that.. I bet the rest is staged.

FUSE...Anyone here know what im talking about? On satellite it is channel 339. It is the best, it is like MTV, but all the shows are like "rockzilla" "Rock countdown" "power fuse" they are all rock shows.

I got digital cable and they have all the music channels...They aren't that bad. But I'd rather just listen to stuff when I want to not when they play it.

I know what yo u're talking about THRICE....fuse is awesome! But they don't have as much $$$ as MTV, so late night/early morning they have to run those paid programming show things and that sucks...that's the only drawback in my opinion

I would like MTV if they played something worth listening to, not that stupid rap stuff, im talkin about punk. I know punk bands have videos, there not all that great but they have videos. I dont like rap because all have is a black dude goin yo yo yo hey yo hey hey yo yo hey yo, im cool (subliminal message: Hey all you kids buy my music even though it sucks), yo hey yo yo, i got more money than you yo yo hey hey yo.

Fiend, I think you should be a little more open to different types of music. I used to be like that as well, but then i started to listen to more music as a whole. I think you should try to be a little more open-minded about it, that's all. I'm not defending rap or anything, just my opinion.

Only the talented have the ability to share it with the rest of the world. Here's a thought; let's stop labeling music and fighting over what genre a certain band is, and start listening to whatever pleases our ears no matter what anyone thinks of it! ;)
