Default Musicbanter's List Project

Okays I figure I should make a semi-official thread on this to archive everything that's been completed and that we could suggest future lists in (once the decade thing is done.)

Here is the lists so far:
MB's Top Albums Pre-60 - Rate Your Music
MB's Top 100 Albums of the 70-74 - Rate Your Music
MB's Top 100 Albums of the 80s - Rate Your Music

Next were going to do 75-79

My suggestions after the decades:
Top 100 Singles
Top 100 EPs
Worst Albums by Great Artists

Okay Seltzer and I finished the pre-60s list. You guys should give us massive e-hugs for putting so much effort into this. Wayfarer and Comus have done alot too. I'll make a thread for 75-79 tomorrow

A joke?

The lists are carefully selected amongst the general consensus of Music Banter members, depending on how they vote in certain polls, what is discussed most, and what is praised the most. It took us a lot of effort and I don't think I saw you contribute anything, so gfto.

And the albums that are own were entirely selected by musicbanter members in threads created to discuss the lists. If you actually contributed something to this forum other than running around hyping your mainstream **** rock you'd know this.

*gives e-hugs to all*

I think the Top 100 Singles is a really good idea, I think that would be a really interesting list

For the simple reason nobody can say Led Zeppelin

And who's bitching about the lists? I mentioned plenty of stuff that the people who compiled it don't like & lots of them got in , some pretty high. I thought they were pretty well balanced at the end & much more interesting than the usual borefests you find in music publications.

But they can! Some singles were released without the band's consent.
