uh, they're pretty good.
I think it's possible people just hear the heavy guitar riffs and loud abrasiveness, and automatically get turned off. They don't really notice the lyrical content. If they did, they would notice that SOAD aren't just some novelty act churned out by the industry to mimic the current fad, but really care about the world, and have vast subject matter ranging from god to politics to society. Every song has a conscious. They never made a 'nookie' song. |
