Shout out to yo' hipsters:

Slint - Spiderland (1991)

Okay, so it might have been one of the earliest post-hardcore albums, but there are so many betters, like Polvo's Today's Active Lifestyles (1993). Not only is it excessively dry, but it never really reaches an apex, it just slides downhill from noisy ambiguity to noisy ambiguity.

it's only ok and pleasant to me

file with Television's Marquee Moon for "critically acclaimed albums that are just only "nice" to me"

Cults - Cults (2011)
I was curious about these guys so I decided to check them out to see what all the fuss is about. Why is this band so popular? Yes I admit their songs are catchy, but they sing about love in a way that's overly cheesy and really really cringe-worthy. Their music just ends up sounding empty and throwaway in the end.

Closer (Joy Division album) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Didn't like it one bit.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

Definitely an album I found myself very disappointed with once I decided to see what all the hype was about.
