I'm Breathless......
Many lament this as Madonna's worst album, but I actually quite like it. I mean, with songs called ''Hanky Panky'' and ''Cry Baby'' it all sounds a bit juvenile, but it's actually quite amusing. Especially that werido creepy accent she does. |

On the topic of funk punk, I'm not quite sure what I used to see in Double Nickels. I do like it but there's a shedload of filler and this is coming from someone who's grossly biased towards anything with nice basswork. How anyone can think it measures up to Zen Arcade is beyond me.

This Charming Man, Hand In Glove, There Is A Light That Never Goes Out, The Boy With A Thorn In His Side, Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now, Girlfriend In A Coma, to name a few. The singles compilation is imo the best thing The Smiths have to offer.

I like Heaven Knows, but I'm not too familiar with the rest. I'll check em out.
IDK, the Smiths are just reaaaaaaaaaalllllyyyyyyyy dry. The instrumentation is nothing short of coma-inducing and frankly, Morrissey is a crappy singer. |
