oh, if you like math rock then it's a no-brainer that you'd like it's sister genre post rock. i'd reccomend these post rock bands:
Battles (they have the same guitarist as don cab) (check out atlas)
Explosions in the Sky (check out their album Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place)
and of course, And So I Watch You From Afar. (check out their song Don't Waste Time doing things you hate)
also, the math rock (too bad it's not instrumental, though) band this town needs guns is pretty cool, and i highly enjoy them.
and if you like math rock, go download slint's album "spiderland"
it pretty much created both math rock and post rock.
but let me warn you that not much of this stuff is as awesome as "what burns never returns". it's one of the best math rock records ever recorded.
the only thing that comes close is battles, but they're not quite the same.
