After 5 complete listens over a period of 4 months, I've decided that this is an extremely average album, if even that. Also, I try not to let religious themes and lyrics interfere with my enjoyment of music, and I usually succeed, but this album..... I feel like I'm sitting around a campfire at Catholic camp in the woods, listening to my group leader aimlessly strum away at his guitar while praising Jesus. Ugh. |

Heh. And indie fans call Doors lyrics pretentious.
Though I actually love the lyrical absurdity of Aeroplane. Still indie f*gs have stange idea of what constitutes a lyrical genius. |
