It's just great rock and roll, IMO. Crank it up in your car and headbang away

After 5 complete listens over a period of 4 months, I've decided that this is an extremely average album, if even that.

Also, I try not to let religious themes and lyrics interfere with my enjoyment of music, and I usually succeed, but this album..... I feel like I'm sitting around a campfire at Catholic camp in the woods, listening to my group leader aimlessly strum away at his guitar while praising Jesus. Ugh.

I LOVE UUUUU JESUS AH CERIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSST JESUS CHRIAAAASSST I LOVE U YES I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Well that about sums it up, it's a great album but not without it's short comings as demonstrated, and it is indeed pretty overrated but so is pretty much anything popular with hipster c*nts these days.

Heh. And indie fans call Doors lyrics pretentious.

Though I actually love the lyrical absurdity of Aeroplane. Still indie f*gs have stange idea of what constitutes a lyrical genius.

I was just listening to a Bright Eyes album, I'd put money on them being one of your most hated bands. Amirite?

And as for what mood I'd have to be in to listen to Tortoise, I don't know. I have Millions Now Living Will Never Die, and it was painfully slow and boring. I mean, instrumentals are good but you have to have some pretty interesting music to compensate for the lack of vocals, like Don Caballero (Damon Che is REALLY GREAT DRUMMER!) but Tortoise is as sedate as its name. I need an explanation.
I LOVE YOU!
(i'm listening to Don Cab right now )
