That's an album that demands your full attention... at least for me. It didn't click with me how awesome it was until I sat in the car one day staring out the window, fully concentrated on the music.

Drugs or no drugs DSOTM is a cracking album. It was probably the album which taught me what a complete album was, and what could be achieved with an album as a whole. It really does sound incredible on drugs though haha, during my last year of secondary school my friends and i used to sit in a dark room, smoke joints and listen to this.

I hate it when people just say they don't like an album and then don't elaborate. Saying "it's boring" isn't going to spawn any constructive discussion, dammit, you need to state why you thought it was boring and what else was wrong with it.

I guess so, man. I don't know how you can not like it, honestly. Time? Money? Breathe? Some of the best and most creative music ever written at the time (and of all time, for that matter). The only song that gets to me is "On the Run", but it helps move the album along so I'll even listen to that one. "Any Colour You Like" trips me out without drugs. It's pop, its progressive, it totally rocks...I can't find a single thing wrong with it.

I like the album, my only issue with it is the backing female singers. I'm never a fan of those. Also I don't listen to it much because several of the songs were overplayed for me before I even listened to the album as a whole. Still though, I'm on the "great album" side of things here.
