I always thought the first two albums by the Jam to be nothing very special but I`m a big fan of "All Mod Cons" "Setting Sons" and "Sound Affects" Agreed, their final album "The Gift" was poor.

Don't hate me for it but...I don't like Johnny Cash. Although he writes good songs I never like it when he sings them by himself. Not really fond of country in general anyway. Same goes for Leonard Cohen. Love "Hallelujah" just not by him. Jeff Buckley's version is absolutely brilliant.
Plenty of other bands that I just don't seem to "get": Animal Collective, Vampire Weekend, The XX. What's all the fuzz about? |
