Worst band on earth?
 

If there was like an award for "worst band ever" who would win it??

(please dont say Britney or Backstreet boys.... Being a band usually indicates making music :laughing: )

I'd say it's probably my band. We have no songs, three of our four members can't play an instrument, none of us can sing, and we don't even have a name.

But we'll make it one day.

^^ I'd be interested to know why thrice is on your list. I'd say they're a great band, talented musicians, good variety between the songs, good singer, and they all work together really well. fallout boy i'm neutral towards, so I won't say anything about them being on the list, but you've got to back it up with something.

I'd personally say he's done it to put someones back up. My guess is they'll rise to the bait as well.

i put it because i think those bands are the worst bands in the world

what do i back it up with? my opinion. no one on here says why they like a band, why do i have to say i why i dont like one.

^ I'm just asking if there's a specific reason why, or if there's just something about them you don't like, which I'd respect. there's some bands that for some unknown reason, I just really dislike. for example, coldplay, a lot of people like them, I recognize that they have some talent, but I really dislike their songs and their style. so I was wondering if its because you don't like they're style, or you don't like the lead singer, or whatever. I'm just trying to get conversation going so we don't have a pointless thread full of people simply naming bands that they hate, because we already have quite a few of those.

well, i hate thrice and bands like thrice firstly because the genre is terrible and secondly because they have ruined the said genre. when people think emo, they dont think rites of spring or indian summer... they think taking back sunday and FATA. and any band that fules that is crap in my book.

i didnt really want to get into this because there are about 200 threads which follow this same path and im sure that as soon as i hit enter, someone is going to say... no way d00d your just an *******

Personally, I've come to hate Metallica the more and more I listen to them. I respect their older material, but their latest releases have been mere repeats of what had been.

Coldplay definitely has style, but they're aiming for a split audience. Economically, :thumbs down: Pft.

why does it matter that other people associate them with emo? they're not hurting you in any way, nor are they stopping you from listening to the bands that you like, and that you associate with emo, like spring or indian summer. how is the fact that they're popular and widely known as emo grounds for hating them?
