actaully I know many, many big Jam fans.. and they all think they've gone to hell with this new album..
I mean really they had a few singles.. meanful videos.. blah blah blah.. and then went back underground.. got away from all the mainstrem ****.. and then they come back to mainstrem.. only they fit in great this time.. I guess they got kicked out of there grave. |

This time? If any of those fans don't like what they hear, they never were true fans to begin with. Pearl Jam has always been good, some stuff better than alot of their material. The new album can easily be compared to the first album, "Ten", which got them into the mainstream to begin with.

To add a little more, the mainstream today is..polluted. To define a band being good just because they're in the mainstream, isn't wise. If you want to stay in the mainstream, copy every other band you know of. If you want to be unique, also like Pearl Jam, you aren't going to be in the mainstream your entire career.
