Haha, I have many to add. This is just my first list:
Camel - Mirage Caravan - In the Land of Grey and Pink Caravan - For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night Gentle Giant - In A Glass House Genesis - Selling England By the Pound Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom David Bowie - Hunky Dory EDIT: Second list: Gong - You Gong - Angel's Egg Yes - Close to the Edge Pentangle - Cruel Sister Deep Purple - In Rock Deep Purple - Machine Head Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy Allman Brothers Band - Eat a Peach Allman Brothers Band - Brothers and Sisters Creedence Clearwater Revival - Cosmo's Factory Mahavishnu Orchestra - Between Nothingness and Eternity Herbie Hancock - Mwandishi Herbie Hancock - Thrust There should probably be some Van Morrison up there because I've heard nothing but stellar comments about his early 70s material. But I haven't listened to the albums myself, so I'm not suggesting them yet. Just putting it out there... maybe someone has listened to them? EDIT 2: Got rid of some unknown albums like Fuzzy Duck's S/T and the doubles.

Ok, we have it down to 116 unordered albums. We're going to look at getting rid of some krautrock because we have loads on there... 2 Can albums, Amon Duul, Faust, Neu!, Ash Ra Tempel, Cluster, Kraftwerk... Might shave off a couple of other prog albums too.
