Best Artist: Round 1: Poll 14

Okay you pick your favorite artists on here and then the top two winners go onto the next round and we repeat the process. Each poll is open for two days.

I vote for Et Tu Brute.

Seltzer 02-15-2008 08:23 PM

Oh god, Opeth and Bowie! I'm going to hold out for now and see who needs help the most at the end. :D

Nosmada 02-15-2008 08:25 PM

Lets go Bowie

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 02-15-2008 08:37 PM

et tu brute.

Lizzie 02-15-2008 11:25 PM

I'm having trouble deciding between Lennon and Et Tu Brute........but Lennon will probably get loads of votes any ways, so I'll go with Et Tu Brute

British_pharaoh 02-16-2008 06:12 AM

100% Bowie

if anyone votes any different they're jsut trying to be controversial

Inuzuka Skysword 02-16-2008 06:27 AM

I love how you put so many good bands on one poll. I had to vote Opeth, but it was extremely close with Bowie. My vote could've gone to anyone on this poll, except for the Cold War Kids who are good, but just not of the caliber of the rest.

up teh skramz y0.

Those are 4 amazing songs. 20 minutes of wowzers.

jackhammer 02-16-2008 07:57 AM

I love Opeth but for sheer talent I will have to go for Bowie.

right-track 02-16-2008 08:04 AM

Lennon/Bowie...Bowie/Lennon...

...errrr...LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLen...Bowie.

Comus 02-16-2008 08:35 AM

Opeth

Clownbaby 02-16-2008 09:35 AM

Opeth

tkpb938 02-16-2008 10:10 AM

I vote Opeth I guess... Though Lennon was close.

Necromancer 02-16-2008 11:13 AM

David Bowie,(gets my vote)-China Girl, One of my favorite's by Bowie. Rebel,Rebel is a classic. Alot of cover bands back in the 70s played Ziggy Stardust, is the title if my memory serves correct.

If those are the tracks you like, you've only scratched the surface of a myriad of aural wonderments...listen to more Bowie.
It's essential.

Consider it a mission!

Exactly. Low is one of my favourite albums ever.

I'm just chucking Reality onto my MP3 player right now for a trip down to Auckland. So far I have 2 Funkadelic albums, 2 Ataxia albums, an Autechre album, 2 Can albums, a Michael Hoenig solo album, a Nick Drake album and an Okkervil River album. I wish it could store more than 99 songs. :banghead:

I've come to the conclusion that ur a bit of a jerk

ProggyMan 02-17-2008 10:16 AM

Lol. Well what do you expect with the type of post you made. Not disagreeing with the above statement, just pointing out you were asking for it.

The Unfan 02-17-2008 03:11 PM

It was between Opeth and Lennon for me, with Bowie in a close third. It took a while for me to come to it, but I went with Opeth because they've done more for the development in my taste in music than Lennon did. Opeth actually to some extent changed the way I looked at music, so they get my vote.

Flip McLovin 02-17-2008 03:17 PM

Bowie by a mile for me.

Inuzuka Skysword 02-17-2008 03:41 PM

Opeth better not lose.

sleepy jack 02-20-2008 11:14 PM

David Bowie and Et Tu Brute win.
