Default Kid rock concert

ok i got a free ticket to a kid rock concert next week. i do not like kid rock, never really have. i have never been to any of his concerts either, but run dmc is going to be there, i kinda like them and believe run is worth going to see. although not my style i think it will be a fun little adventure. i figure i am even going to like kid, or dislike even more afterwards.

anyone seen either live? wondering what to expect. although it is in louisana....

I did this exact thing with Tenacious D. I went and actually had fun and enjoyed the concert.

Sell that ticket...I'm sure you have strippers closer to home. Plus you'll have more drinking money because you won't have to buy gas !!

pfft it's run dmc, well only 2/3 but still I'd kill to watch those niglets.
I sense kid rock taking over aerosmith's part on walk this way though. Yeah, stay clear.

Don't say "niglets."

I'd go see the show if I was you. Kid Rock combines rock, hip-hop, and country. I actually prefer the country side of his repetoire, so more than likely you'll find something you'll enjoy at the show.

Although gospel may not be the first thing you think of when considering the rock artist Kid Rock, he announced on an episode of Real Time with Bill Maher that he is releasing his first-ever gospel album.
Quote:
The singer made the announcement while sitting on a panel with Tim Ryan, Pamela Paul, and Bill Maher. Kid Rock was asked directly if he was going to create the Christ-centered new album.

Quote:
“In the early beginnings now, doing a Gospel record with my old friend Rick Rubin.”

This shocked everyone listening as Kid Rock is not known for his Christian themes. At one point during the interview he pointed out that he “is in a rock band” after all. The singer does have a point.

Bill Maher was confused by Kid Rock’s album announcement and pointed out that most of his music can not be played in a church.

The singer responded,

“You know, I know the Ten Commandments pretty well, and in those Commandments, I have never once seen or even heard of one being ‘Thou shalt not swear.’”
