Brian Molko Is A Liar
Ok, this is weird. I'm not as big a fan of Placebo as I was but I still found this interesting. For anyone that knows the hidden track ''Evil *****'' at the end of WYIN then you'll probably be aware of the phone message that Molko 'apparently' recieved, y'know the threat about cutting his genitals off. That album was released in 1998. But get this, in 1997 when Aphex Twin released the Come To Daddy EP the exact same message is played at the end of ''Funny Little Man''. What's the deal with that? Maybe I have the story wrong but everywhere I've looked, on forums and whatnot, it says Molko recieved that message. To me, after hearing it on Come To Daddy, it looks like Molko stole it and made up his little story. I know this is a very minor detail but this is exactly the kind of thing that gets me thinking. Has anybody else noticed this? I mean.....I can't be the first, those albums are 10 years old. I'm probably wasting my time here but do any of ye have any idea what's the deal with this?

Well I have very little idea of what it is you're talking about so I can only go on what you've posted but the first thing that comes to mind is it isnt very likely to be stolen from something thats already in print and on the shelves?

Maybe he was just bored during an interview and made it up.
