Default Looking for similiar tunes to this:

Iv fallen in love with an instrumental song called "Sadness and Sorrow" from an anime called Naruto.

the song can be found here:



i was wondering if anyone knew of any music similar in style, preferably with the koto (i think thats a koto being played? or a guzheng?) in it as well.

the song is very soothing, as i was hoping to make a CD of all similar tunes.

the composer of this song is Toshiro Masuda, by the way.

edit: the youtube video doesnt seem to work on this, i dont think. sorry, new to posting youtube vids. =l

download some of brian eno's ambient music. particularly brian eno and harold budd - ambient 2 (plateaux of mirrors)

fabulous, mellow stuff. one of my favourite albums actually.

let me knwo what u think of it if u get it.

now if you want japanese music get the compilation "Lullaby for the moon"
its a good start.

very very very soothing. and gorgeous!
