Apparently, you didn't notice the metaphors in that song. Maybe give it another listen.
BTW, the song Subdivisions is social commentary at its best.

Are you sure you can keep this up for another 10 albums because that's how many Rush albums I seem to have misunderstood

Haha, I can't see you listening to the prog bands like Rush, Genesis and Yes. Maybe some King Crimson though, especially Red.
