Well, my three favourite love songs are all by obscure bands - 2 in particular, both of which involve the songwriter, David Bridie...

I am not freakishly into love songs, but I genuinely enjoy love songs that reveal some sort of truth, or talk about love under difficult circumstances...

My favourite loves songs are...

Walk Me Home - Not Drowning, Waving

Talk About Love - My Friend the Chocolate Cake

I'd urge anyone to seek these two tracks out - not cause I'm trying to spam for this dude, but because, well, I've never heard love songs written so damn well. So truthfully and earnestly, without the sap and sentiment.

I just discovered Tangled Up In Blue by Bob Dylan. I think it's pretty neat.

Taylor Swift - Teardrops on My Guitar is my fav love song...

Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I'm needing everything that we should be
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without...

Taylor said in an interview she was inspired by her first love when she wrote this love song

I hear that song all the time in the grocery store I work at - Not meaning to rip on your taste, every song means something different to each person - but because I hear it so often, I've gotten really tired of it... but that's just my personal story of the effects of overexposure to music...
