Gary Numan - White Noise. Double live album from the mid 80's that I am dying to hear again after all these years.

Liked him with Tubeway Army, but I couldn't get over his dead pan weirdness, solo.

I still have a track 'Cold Warning' in my head after hearing it years ago and wanted to reminisce!

It's just I can't get the memory of this one kid (Numan clone) who used to frequent school disco's and just wait for his one track to come on just so as he could stand in the middle of the dance floor with a large and curious crowd around him, hardly moving, with mad staring and unblinking eyes. Very weird.

His whole act got pretty old pretty fast, but his first two solo albums are wonderful.

Just checking out that White Noise album after not hearing it for about 15 years and as it's a live album there are some really good tunes on it but after 6 or 7 tracks it get's kinda repetitive. The Pleasure Principle is still a great album though.

Have you got Replicas perchance? My personal favourite of his albums - there are some great songs on that, especially the double-disc version.
