Their first release, Cut, is probably my favourite album of all time. I even got to see the lead singer, Ari Up, perform live. Yet I tried for years to track down a copy of their follow up, Return of the Giant Slits, without success.

'As rare as rocking horse crap' as the saying goes!
That rocking horse just took a dump...

There's me trying to get my 15 posts in a sharing/community minded fashion and you come along and get 4 posts in that manner. I am slightly disgruntled!

Could anybody hook a brother up with Glenn Gould's piano version of Bach's Art of Fugue? I promise to return the favour with blowjobs.

I'm looking for a flac copy of WWF Aggression. Mainly the 3rd song "Know Your Role" by Method Man since my disc is scratched on that one song. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'll send you a PM and link. Gould never did a complete piano
version (tracks 10 - 17) of Art of Fugue, but the organ versions
(tracks 1 - 9) are uniquely his. Actually all of it is uniquely his.
Even tho he hums thru it (but, unlike Keith Jarrett, he's actually
charming) and plays without legato (which is to some advantage,
but usually verboten with Bach organ aficionados), it's actually
some first-rate playing. He was first trained as an organist, so this
adds some gravitas to this. This is the recording that he's known for.
Plus, it includes the originally uncompleted Contrupunctus XIV
done in a brilliant way. The piano sources are varied and not
recorded very well, but this is what we get. The story that I've heard
is that he had some shoulder problems which prevented him from
doing a complete sit-down organ version. If you're looking for the best
piano version, then I'd recommend Tatiana Nikolayeva's recording.
I'll send this Gould on to you.

Now playing: João Donato e Eumir Deodato - Batuque
Thank you, rostasi!

You can get anything if you want if you have google chrome translate and the right url.
Everything mentioned here already. FLAC, 24bit, etc, etc. No invites needed, because....

It's legal, of course.

Of course.
