Probably a bit of a shot in the dark but I've been having a hard time tracking down these:

Friedrich Gulda — Piano Recital / Live at Birdland
The Lionel Hampton Quintet — s/t
Herbie Mann and the Bill Evans Trio — Nirvana
The Herbie Mann-Sam Most Quintet — s/t
Sonny Rollins — Plus 4

Also, anything by Matthew Shipp except The Art of the Improvisor (I already have that one)

If anyone has the Tea Set's demo tape (as in the original Floyd's first output)- if it exists, that is- that would be more amazing than sweet tea sex!

EDIT: Actually, anything Syd Barrett would still be that amazing (aside from the Madcap Laughs, which i have found).

I've said it before and I'll say it again - What.CD
Jump on IRC, sit through an interview, and get hooked up with an account.

All but the first are available there.
And I count 38 albums by Matthew Shipp...

I've been searching for these albums for months now, and I have had absolutely no luck. If anyone could help me, then it would be greatly appreciated.

The 25-Year Retrospective Concert of the Music of John Cage (1959) by John Cage

The Light of Falling Cars (1999) by Stephen Vitiello

Pheromone (1995) by Koji Asano

At your suggestion I just went to what.cd but I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to do there. What I've managed to find out via google is confusing to say the least and sounds like a hell of a lot of work.

It's just a torrent site, but it's private. You either need to be invited, or you need to get into their IRC channel and talk to one of the members there to "interview" for a spot. Trust me, it's worth it. There are 150,000 users and half a million albums there. I kid you not.

Is it all FLAC too? I have no way to convert FLAC files into individual tracks.
