Default I can't "Genre-nize" the type of music I'm looking for

Okay guys, I'm looking for a specific type of music but I dont know what genre to classify it as so I'm gonna have to give some examples and describe it.

Basicly I'm looking for music similar to Sweatshop Union's "The thing about it" or "The human race" or something similar to Everlast's "What it's like". If you havn't heard these songs, they are kinda like "bluesy, sad, dramatic, rap, with some interesting instruments and a really good beat. They usually have an acoustic guitar in them too. Anways, those are really the only three songs I know of like that and they are like my total favorte type of music. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can help me out, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

BTW, I had a thread entitled "What are some good down-tempo bands" that I didnt really respond to the replies I got so I apologize for that but I kinda lost interest and am now looking for the music described in this thread.
