Beatles questions
I have a few questions about The Beatles:
1. Why do some kids say they "suck"? Is it to be cool, or have they actually heard a song besides "Yellow Submarine. 2. How will they be remembered in a few centuries time? 3. Do you agree with the statement that Paul McCartney is the modern Mozart (in terms of writing a melody) 4. Rank the beatles from most talented to least talented in these categories, and say why if y ou want: Lyric writing, melody writing, guitar skill (electric), guitar skill (acoustic),drumming skill, singing voice, and overall. 5. Had the beatles not existed as a band, could any of them have been successful as a solo artist? 5. If you could change one thing about the beatles, what would it be? 6. Who's your favorite, and why? And my favourite is John, even though I have a soft spot for Paul it's got to be Mr. Lennon. Something about his destructive personality interests me, as well as the fact his voice is my favourite. Who's your favourite? |

The only reason I dislike The Beatles is because they were forced upon me growing up. And living here, everywhere you look it's THE BEATLES. They're just everywhere and I get sick and tired of it, their music is alright and I do like a couple of their songs, but generally they're just not my cup of tea as such.

I can appreciate/understand why people love them, it's just that they aren't really for me. I can't stand people who, when you say you don't like bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones etc., respond with "you mustn't really like music then".
No. Just because bands like that have influenced a lot of music that is around today, it doesn't mean that the influence is reflected directly in their sound. |

The Beatles are classic. And Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club is classic.
I lost my Beatles tee-shirt. And I have a stoner bus driver who plays them everyday. What's not to like? *no sarcasm, i really really do like the Beatles *
