I don't understand how anyone could not like The Beatles. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with how popular they are and how accessable they are to a lot of people. I could see how someone couldn't like them because of that and think that since so many people like them that they're considered "overrated", but this is just nonsense. I personall love The Beatles I may go as far to say that they're one of my favorite bands.

Favorite Album: The White Album is my favorite pretty much every song on there is amazing (even Revolution 9!). You could tell that after they finished Sgt. Pepper they were still down for experimenting and that's exactly what they did on here. A very raw and stripped down approach which would appear on there next album Let it Be (My 2nd favorite album!)

Favorite Songs:
A Day In The Life, Strawberry Fields Forever, Hey Jude, Drive My Car, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Rocky Raccoon, I'm so Tired, Dig A Pony, Get Back I'll only name these few. I could go on and on they have so many great songs.

Beatles were great in the beginning until Yoko Ono came

I'm a big fan of the white album. The sprawling mess of different styles was a big inspiration on my own music.

Though I think Revolver is the closest they came to a perfect album.

So I have everything the Beatles did from Revolver up to Let It Be and I have them all in their remaster form. Since earlier Beatles isn't as good, do you guys think I should get the old cd for those albums, or should I get every one remastered?

there is really not that much difference between the 1988 remasters and the currennt one for the stereo mixes

if you do want to get the earlier albums new, I'd advise you to get the mono mixes, which are slightly superior

Really? There isn't much of a difference between the stereo mixes? That sucks.

So you think I should go the route of the 88 remasters for all the other Beatles albums? It would probably save me about 50 bucks.

yeah save it for the oither albums

and you get some 20-minute documentary with the new remasters, which i didin't even bother watching

they also come with rare photos, and such and such

but the biggest flaw is that they're all in digi-pak, whereas i preferred the default CD covers
