You want me to list every single guitarist I think is good? I think some of the greatest are:
Jimmy Page
Jimi Hendrix
Eric Clapton
Eddie Van Halen
Paul Simon
Slash
Chuck Berry
Robert Johnson

Those are just off the top of my head. I could think of a lot more in a few minutes. I can also think a lot more good but not great ones.

Nice list. But George Harrison is way better than Paul Simon. And hes certainly greater than Slash. And on a technical level he's better than Chuck Berry.

On a technical level he may be better than Slash, but I prefer Slash's manic engergy to Harrison's careful strumming. He was by far the best guitarist in the Beatles though. I disagree that Harrison is a better player than Simon. Don't forget that Simon had to sing and play guitar, while Harrison(Mainly) just played. It's an entriely different type of guitar plaing , so it's hard to compare.

I said mainly. John and Paul were the main vocalists.

That doesn't change the fact George could, and did. He had a career after the Beatles.

I never denied he was a good guitar player. On the whole I would say the Beatles were above-average, mainly because of George.

I don't care if Paul can sing and play, so could George, and weither hes a better singer is debatable, but he's certainly a better guitarist.

His licks on Something, Fixing A Hole, I've Just Seen a Face, She Said He Said, I Want You (Shes So Heavy), Let It Be, Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Ticket To Ride, Hello Goodbye, Dear Prudence, Sexy Sadie, I Feel Fine, Come Together, You Never Give Me Your Money, Polythene Pam, I Me Mine. I can go on.

Whatever. It's kind of pointless because it's hard to make technical comparisons over the web.

Why do I have to make technical comparisons? I already know George is better than Paul Simon, f000.
