Another One Bites the Dust is the most overrated Queen song ever and songs like that are pretty rare for them in the 80s anyway. There discography seems to be made up of crap like Don't Try Suicide and so on. That album marked the start of a terrible period for Queen. They changed everything they did and threw away all their credibility for synthesizers and boring 80s music.

Anyway thinking of 80s albums sure is stirring up a ton of brain synapses that have not fired in my head for a long time. I just realized there is no SRV on the list. I saw him live about 5 times through the 80s and was always blown away. Coulda been the mushrooms that made me forget. . . You gotta have: Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble "Couldn't Stand the Weather" Which also makes me think of Bowie's "Let's Dance" (his last good record) as he played guitar on that one. |

There's also a bootleg of the tour rehearsal that he played on before walking out before the tour started.

What about adding Stevie Ray Vaughan "Couldn't Stand the Weather" This record has Cold Shot, Couldn't Stand the Weather, Scuttle Buttin' chock full of good nutrients. Keeps you healthy with soul food. One record only for SRV!! you can take off a Sonic Youth Record or a Smiths (as if you will) record of your choice. That record has more good music on than half the list you have up. (including the ones I have suggested that are still up) |
