Ok. I have listened to Rezz's compilation. Here's my thoughts:

1. Cosmic Slop [Live] - Funkadelic (Eddie Hazel)
I really like this. it's almost a rock track. Great bass line too.
2. I'll Find My Way - The Derek Trucks Band (Derek Trucks)
Average blues/soul. Try Robert Cray Band for (IMO) similar but better example of this.
3. Look On - John Frusciante (John Frusciante)
After a slow start this really picks up although his voice annoys me at times.
4. I Could Have Lied - Red Hot Chili peppers (John Frusciante)
Never liked this track-sorry!
5. Red House - Jimi Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix)
Classic.Have you heard the Prince version? That is tasty too!
6. Final Wars - Buckethead (Buckethead)
This had some interesting themes going on and I really liked this one.
7. Bold As Love - Jimi Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix)
Another stormer from Jimi!
8. Bulls On Parade - Rage Against The Machine (Tom Morello)
Not My favourite RATM but some great guitar work on it.
9. Rivers of Avalon - Red Hot Chili Peppers (John Frusciante)
I had'nt heard this before and now I know why it was a b-side. Cut price RHCP I'm afraid.
10. Dissolve - John Frusciante (John Frusciante)
I love the clean sound on this, and a great simple melody too.
11. One and the Same - Audioslave (Tom Morello)
I don't like Audioslave and I find that their sound is just watered down RATM. Nothing in this song convinced me to change my mind about them.
12. Soothsayer - Buckethead (Buckethead)
Adequately performed but it bored me after a while and I found my mind drifting.
13. All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix)
Well what can I say really? Classic tune.
14. Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers (John Frusciante)
I'm not a big fan of this album and this song is listenable but not one of my RHCP faves.

I am looking forward to your other two as you say they will have older tracks on. It has piqued my interest in BUCKETHEAD a little more and I need to get some more Frusciante. Keep it up though!

Will Be Up When Its Done Uploading (or when i get back from work)

Part 2

Track # - Song - Artist - Guitarist

1. Castles Made of Sand - Jimi Hendrix (Jimi hendrix)
2. Castles Made of Sand - Red Hot Chili Peppers (John Frusciante)
3. Crossroads - Cream (Eric Clapon)
4. Crossroads - Rush (Alex Lifeson)
5. Mother - Danzig (John Christ?)
6. Show Me the Way [Live] - Peter Frampton (Peter Frampton)
7. Doobie Wah - Peter Frampton (Peter Frampton)
8. Dazed and Confused - Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page/Robert Plant)
9. Gimme Back My Bullets - Lynyrd Skynyrd (Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Ed King, and Steve Gaines?)
10. White Room - Cream (Eric Clapton)
11. Untitled #11 - John Frusciante (John Frusciante)

I put a little more older music on here, and tried something new. Two of the songs 1 and 3 also have there remakes on here, so tell me how that is.

*Number 11 is very short, and just instrumental, but it was made During BSSM, and while Frusciante was a heroine addict. Yet still works very well for me.

I will have to pass on your latest comp Rezz as there is only one song I have never heard. Let's hop some of the younger ones give it a go though!
