Default Local Scene

Talk about it. Big it up. Put it down. Whatever you want, just tell what is going on musically where you live.

In high school I was a Ska Kid, and at heart I still am. There is this play the next town over that all the different ska kids used to go ever Friday night to see there favourite local ska bands play. It was call the Dudgeon, it was under a LazarQuest.
Then it turned very Scremo or “Scene” so I started heading down town Toronto ever week maybe three times a week to go to the all ages shows there. My favourite place was the 360 it was in the heart of down town, everyone there was like family all the kids knew each other and some dressed up in crazy outfits …It was just a great time so many different characters .I think it closed down. Same people would go every week.

Looking back on it I think the Ska Scene was the best everyone was so friendly and nice to each other and everyone just there to have fun and not take themselves seriously. I went to a few of the Scene shows and people just seemed really angry, there would always be fights and they took themselves way too serious.
