The Demise of the music Industry
Hello everyone, I just made a video in regards to the music industry and popular artists today. I would appreciate anyone who goes to watch it at:
h t t p://youtube.com/watch?v=A2xvLoSaiRg I would appreciate any comments or oppinions regarding it. Basically just saying that music in general today..is stuck in a downward spiral and how I feel nothing is being done about it. |
Music today is better than ever, stop listening to the radio and judging 'today' based off mainstream rap. There's plenty of good rappers out there today anyway Aesop Rock, Mos Def, Jedi Mind Tricks, Atmosphere, Ghostface etc.
|
Well, what I'm saying is the music that's getting onto the billboard top music charts like "a bay bay" and "walk it out", and how ridiculous it is that this is the most popular music and is being recognized for such honor.
Did you watch my video? |
The radio always plays alot of crap that's just how it is. I would've probably been able to watch your video for longer (I got about halfway through) if it wasn't for the terrible music I had to endure.
|
I grew up in the 80s
The radio was crap then no worse nor better than it is now. |
billboards doesn't play as big of a role as it used to either. Thanks to the internet people are listening to whatever they want when they want.
Its always easy to make a compilation of the crap music of the year and then generalize the whole music industry off that. But hell, look at how many commercially successfull good albums came out this year: neon bible in rainbows icky thump Kala under the black light finding forever back to black hissing fauna, are you the destroyer? If anything, good music went up this year! |
Under the Black Light sucked, srry.
|
your just mad cuz u cant WALK IT OUT!
|
I was too busy supermaning that hoe.
|
bitch we dont superman no mo
we jus spidaman dat ho or, if you perfer "super mario, mega man, scooby doo, robo-cop, and aqua man dat hoe" is also acceptable :P |
