A couple other strong 2007 releases are:

Jesu—"Conqueror"
The Book of Knots—"Traineater"
Tin Hat—"The Sad Machinery of Spring"
Panda Bear—"Person Pitch"
Any chance you could up any of those? Book of Knots and Tin Hat seem pretty interesting.

Four more kick-ass new albums:

Tomahawk—"Anonymous" American Indian chants mixed with jagged, rough-hewn rock 'n roll. In anyone else's hands besides Mike Patton's a concept like this could've been really cheesy, but this isn't. At all. It's really quite amazing and haunting.

Pig Destroyer—"Phantom Limb" If you liked the insane grind of "Terrifyer" you will dig this album. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea but if you like hyper-aggressive music in general or grindcore in particular you will love it.

Cornelius—"Sensuous" Imagine if muzak was done in a creative and exciting way. Like it's predecessor "Point" this album pulls off the amazing trick of turning the epitome of bland, lame music into something exciting and new. Great music to chill out to. Fantastic album.

Amon Tobin—"Foley Room" The guy who pushed trip-hop to it's outer limits has now pushed into into the unknown. Instead of sampling existing songs, Amon Tobin is now creating his own live samples and building amazing noir-ish sound collages out of them. This album, while certainly in line with his previous work, has an amazing raw edge to it that is clearly a product of the new sampling technique. Highly recommended.
