I guess Kelly Clarkson. I don't really listen to her music but she used to work at a theater I used to frequent in Burleson so...

I'll vote Chris Daughtry, because he's the only good one I've seen off the show. Wouldn't have known about him if he didn't hit radio. I've never watched one episode of the show, and don't intend to.

I believe the thread said favorite american idol winner and he was in third or runner-up I'm not even sure....I barely watch it. I know he didn't win though.

daughtrys pretty much the only good thing to come out of idol & he didnt even win
kelly clarkson has an ego the size of jupiter, which i guess makes sense since shes the most successful idol winner
doesnt mean shes good though

I'd go so far as to say that American Idol has lessened music as a whole.

American Idol has produced pop stars that can actually sing that are shoved down our throats. Which is a step up from pretty faces that can't sing that are shoved down our throats. However the music hasn't been any better so...
