Emancipator - Soon It Will Be Cold Enough (2006) A downtempo electronica album with a nice winter theme. Just what I need for when the days get colder and the nights get longer. Mostly instrumental apart from some female guest vocals on one track.

Shad - Flying Colours Hip-Hop 2013 Canadian rapper with some incredibly reflective and impressive lyricism. Really enjoying this one, the instrumentation is smooth and tranquil in places almost like a Nujabes record and Shad's voice compliments it perfectly, never off beat, never rough. He has an ability to make you hang on his words also. Anybody who liked Acid Rap should definitely check this one out. EDIT: Actually can't concentrate on the essay I'm supposed to be writing because all my attention's being diverted onto this album. truly enticing. Last edited by 14232949; 11-03-2013 at 04:15 PM. |

I love this album so damn much. It's pretty eclectic while simultaneously cohesive by conveying various sides of winter. If you ever get a chance to seem him live with his electric violinist, I highly recommend it; I had a stellar time.
