true true. I just thought this one of those times when you stumbled into the wrong thread though drunk or something.

John Newman - Tribute This guy is making huge waves over here (and maybe in the US/elsewhere) and I really like some of the songs he has had on the radio. "Love Me Again" is epic.

on the pop front Lorde and Haim are really doing it for me lately and I find myself going back to their albums no matter what I'm listening to.

The Lee Thompson Ska Orchestra - The Benevolence of Sister Mary Ignatius Thompson was the saxophonist for Madness. A mix of covers & originals, I especially enjoyed their take on Gregg Allman's "Midnight Rider". RP Boo - Legacy Killer footwork from Kavain Wayne Space. An album that will definitely make my top 20 of the year. Richard Youngs - Summer Through My Mind A country-tinged album from the prolific Richard Youngs- and his best, so far, to my ears. There's an otherworldly-psych thing going on here as well. Favorite track- " Spin Me Endless in the Universe". |

jesus christ marie anyway I ****ing love this compilation that I just found. eta: that is one of my fave albums ever. So perfect. I think I'd put it only under Deceit and Entertainment! for best post-punk albums of all time. |
