Holy **** that looks like a lot of people. I know sometimes the camera makes the crowds look 10 times bigger than they actually were, especially for open air performances like that one. But check it out, it just doesnt go back, it seems to go on for miles either side too.

Great stuff anyway, even though Sabbath do seem to lose some of the impact in the open air and the daylight.

My Sabbath albums often alternate in terms of which I like best but the top 2 seem to only ever interchange with one another and its usually Vol4 thats at the top.

yeah Ozzy seems a bit off key occasionally but I'd still sacrifice a non-essential body part to have been there stoned
If anyone is short on classic Sabbath (Clabbath? nah) PM me

lucifersam - I am down with Sketches of Spain also but I prefer the Miles Smiles thru to On the Corner era. And Birth of the Cool!

edit: bit of trivia - Frank Zappa named 'Supernaut' the greatest rock track of all time
'Zappa said in an interview, "I like it because I think it's prototypical of a certain musical style, and I think it's well done. Also, I happen to like the guitar lick that's being played in the background".'

Isn't that nice?

I think it's his best album for me. Bitches Brew is amazing but Sketches of Spain is just as good, every single time I listen to it. I sort of have to be in the right mood for Bitches Brew.

@dreadnaught - I'll hit you up with Sketches of Spain.

Hoodoo Gurus - Stoneage Romeos
Great little album this. Bright and upbeat Australian pop-rock. It's nothing truly amazing, but goes down really well if you're in the mood for it.

Half Man Half Biscuit - Peel Sessions
One of Britain's finest. I've been listening to this virtually non-stop for the last couple of days.
