Father John Misty - Fear Fun
I started listening to this about a week ago I believe, and it is one of my favorite albums now probably. The amazing singing voice and hint of humor add so much to almost every song, It came out in 2012 and is the first album he has released under the name "Father John Misty". I highly recommended this to anyone that likes very relaxed indie rock, folk, or folk rock. Hell, just go out and listen otherwise, it's great! The entire album is on YouTube. (I would post it but I need to post more first according to an error) |

I'm not sure what Alpine is. I think you may have me confused with someone else (unless I'm totally forgetting something). Maybe it's something I should check out though! |

Fleet Foxes yes, My Morning Jacket I fail to hear why fans of them would enjoy Father John Misty. I'm sure they would, it's just an odd comparison.

Think Slayer mixed with Fun. That's how they sound.
