Satan's Pilgrims - Psychsploitation (2009) When I started listening to this I thought to myself "Yeah man, this is a pretty great 60's Psyche/Surf Rock album.", but then I noticed it was released in 2009. Blimey. Really good stuff.

Another to please Urban...
Public Service Broadcasting - Inform - Educate - Entertain Listening on the Spotify "sampler" but trying to get my hands of the full thing (help a brother out). Really cool beats with what seems like random extracts/samples of news broadcasters speaking.

Bibio - Ambivalence Avenue (2009) His best by far, IMO. Granted it's the first one I heard (around the year of release), but it seems to have the best arrangement and best mix of his different styles without going overboard (Mind Bokeh, I'm looking at you). It's very beautiful music. Fans of Four Tet, Benoît Pioulard, Boards of Canada, mellow glitch-hop and folktronica should get around to this if they haven't.

I was maybe a little indifferent the first few times I played it, but it grew on me in a big way after that.

Vampire Weekend seriously just get better with each subsequent record they make. Their self-titled debut showed them as preppy, polo-wearing self indulgent young men who listened to a lot of afro-pop records. Contra showed a bit more maturation, but Modern Vampires of The City is the perfect balance of what made their first two records so worthwhile, but way more than just that. It's looking to be my favorite record of theirs after maybe another listen or two.

^ I never got into them, though I don't mind a song here or there on shuffle. I've listened to both albums and they're tolerable but not really my thing. I might like this one more based on what I'm reading here and there.
