I was just about to come in here and post about this album. I just listened to it last night for the first time and I'm about to play it again now. Really damn good...they got some of that Bauhaus influence with a modern edge. And that rhythm section. Oh man, you don't hear a backbone like that anymore. Considering this is their debut, I can't wait to hear what else they can do.

^ I checked out the samples for that this morning. The sound interests me but I wasn't really into the vocals. I should still give it a proper listen.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I'm tempted to agree, but the music makes up for it. Again, that beefy rhythm section is enough to get me into the album. Just listen to Strife the whole way through...it's got a groovy baseline and raunchy guitar. You can't go wrong.

Just played this a bit ago. As I feared, I didn't really like the vocals and they became a little irritating by the end of the album. I found the music interesting enough that I'll play it again, and hopefully the vocals will grow on me because otherwise they get in the way.

It happens. I find I'm very forgiving of vocals. More than most people, anyway.

Medulla - Bjork

Only Bjork record I've listened too, and love quite a bit.

I really didn't find the vocals an issue at all. I mean, they are by far not even close to the most abrasive or weird vocals I enjoy, but still.

Anyway. I've listened to the album twice now, and I find it very engaging, but I don't know if it's really sunk in yet. Not digging it yet, but I may by the end of the week,
