In all honesty, besides Joyride, I don't like the album a whole lot, I don't like Human, that's for sure.

I'm liking this hella more than Tago Mago, i think certain songs on the Tago are more hypnotic and enticing (Oh Yeah, Halleluhwah) but overall Ege Bamyasi delivers the goods. It's also a lot handier for little jams like Vitamin C and I'm So Green when i haven't got 15 mins to spare. Thanks to Bulldog for this, some old school punk which is right up my street, not too unlike early Damned. |

Glad you like it. It's also home to the song I named my LastFM account after. They have some other great albums, but to me they don't really vary so much musically between them, and the debut there's probably their most consistent effort too.

I'll Sleep When You're Dead by EL-P It's got his trademark production style, but with a thread of hot anger running through it that I don't see on Company Flow or The Cold Vein. Lyrically it's just strong as you could hope for. |
