Kendrick lamar-Section.80:One of my favorite albums ever.I love the concept and how he structure the whole thing. He talks about positive aspects in this album that most rappers dont talk about at all.If you like rap its a good chance youll love this!
Frank Ocean-Channel ORANGE:I love the subject matters on this album and its doesnt sound like typical R&B music. This album has its own unique style of R&B and its a beautiful body of work. Its just a decent album The Weeknd-Trilogy:My favorite artist ever!I think with this album it redefined what R&B is and puts it in a new light. It doesnt sound like R&B music but its influenced by it.Its has a unique sound no one can touch. His voice is awesome sauce and the production is outta this world.I highly recommend listening to him! |

Over the past year or so Manowar has fast become one of my fav bands. I could listen to them for hours and I'm going through some of their back catalogue that I've been overlooking. Their debut, Battle Hymns, is a much more streamlined and less cheese ridden album by this band. It's just infectious biker metal at its best.

DOLL$BOXX - Doll's Apartment:
I hear that they call this stuff "Power Metal". It sounds good to me. The ridiculous contrast between their image and music amuses me though. It's a an amusing gimmick, but they are actually very talented. Fuki's vocals are pretty amazing! Hearing the drummer growl amuses me too. Ah. Too much amusement! Lots of talent and lots of fun. Solid album. Here's my favourite cut from the album. Glowsticks at metal concerts, woohoo! |

Right now, it's these three:
I'm a fan of Madvillain, but I really like the darker atmosphere DOOM is going for here. Tom Waits is fantastic. "Christmas Card From A Hooker In Minneapolis" is probably one of my favourite Waits-track of all time. This is a really filmatic and beautyful album. It mixes Radiohead with some western-themed music, and sounds wonderful. The first half is the best, though. |
