Nails—Unsilent Death Woah. I downloaded this a while back and finally got around to giving it a listen today at the gym. Holy crap is it good music to workout to! So much intensity. I love it. If you like raw, loud, angry hardcore/crusty type music then you might too. |

Doldrums - Empire Sound This EP comes from a guy who started off making crazy avant garde conceptual electronic music and then realized he actually had a knack for hooks. If I had to compare this to something, it would be a cross between Animal Collective and Grimes (but no, his voice is not squeaky and high pitched). Great stuff.

Unsane, Wreck. I saw this noise rock record on so many year-end list, I had to check it out. I was not disappointed. I'm going to be listening to this on and off for awhile, but I think it's only going to get better with consecutive listens.
