Definitely. It's a positive, ultimately. It just means that currently, just shy of half way through, I'm not sure what to make of it. It's a fun pop album, as you say, and I like how cheerful and enjoyable it is, but I think I need to wait until its finished to judge it. And probably listen to it again.

I agree, as you know. I wonder where they will go next. They keep changing their style bit by bit but I'm wondering if they will ever go for a real, sudden shift in style. More than Warp Riders was.

My prediction is that they'll try to make things interesting with each album. Probably keep with the formula of what they have now, where Age of Winters and Gods of the Earth sounded alike, and released Warp Riders with a clean sound, than go back to the the sound of Gods of the Earth, etc for a few albums, than do another Warp Riders influenced album.

Fun is good. Fun is something I don't do a lot because I'm a miserable old bastard. Fun is this album.

Parov Stelar is great stuff too. An act I'd recommend in this same style is Chinese Man. Fun sounds there!
Edit: That is a fine tune jack! It's gonna be stuck in my head all night.

Just when you though Frownland had settled into his new avatar...
Wolfgang Dauner - Output Avant-Garde Jazz with eerie electronics. Liked it on first listen but this time round I am getting chills.
